about us

we’re in the habit of creating good design.

what is good design?

It makes you feel comfortable, embodies your style, and achieves your balance of budget and vision.
We are here to make good design happen, to turn your words into drawings and your ideas into architecture.

inHabit, LLC provides architecture and interior design to home and business owners. We bring a fresh perspective, creative energy, and a sense of collaboration to each of our projects. Our clients become integral parts of the design process.

At inHabit, every project gets a partner – from start to finish. We are a boutique design practice where partners Jackie Gusic and Tina Geary are actively involved in every phase of a project, from initial concepts through final construction. Our personal involvement equals personal commitment, accountability, and responsibility to design and oversee construction. We’re approachable, available, and we like to keep our clients happy.

Good design is our habit. Good business is our practice.

process

All projects begin with a client’s desire to improve his or her environment – through a small change or a massive undertaking. InHabit meets with the client to understand goals, expectations, and budget.

Schematic design turns ideas into concepts – with options and choices. The options consider the client’s initial ideas about the project while offering new ideas to find a solution that meets all objectives.

Construction documents are the formal drawings that get a project built – and ensure a smooth permitting and construction process. Through the documentation phase, inHabit maintains a close relationship with the client, confirming and documenting all decisions.

The construction phase turns the drawings into built reality – and inHabit remains involved. We’re there every step of the way, helping select the appropriate contractor, maintain lines of communication, and ensure compliance with drawings.

We don’t consider a project successful until it has met or exceeded our client’s expectations.
