Nestled on a beautiful, wooded 4-acre property, this modern home was updated to meet the needs of a busy family. The Ground Floor was selectively opened to visually and physically connect the spaces the family uses most often. The newly streamlined Kitchen includes dual islands enabling multiple activities to take place at once. A custom entertainment unit continues the aesthetic of the Kitchen and acts as the focus of the Family Room. Crisp white walls and a large new picture window brighten the entire floor and frame the gorgeous views of the backyard.

The Mudroom and Laundry Area were fitted out with custom green cabinetry carefully designed to organize and contain everything that gathers at a home’s entry point. The heavy wood railing on the stair was replaced with a light and airy cable rail and the honey-stained wood was refinished to match the new white oak floors. Upstairs, the Primary Bath was renovated with a nod toward the mid-century design of the house but includes modern luxuries such as an oversized shower and a freestanding soaking tub. InHabit is not done with this house so stay tuned for Phase 2 renovations!
