This busy family of 4 called on inHabit to optimize their home’s most demanding spaces. A small front porch was partially enclosed to create an efficient Mudroom and Laundry Room with a new direct connection to the Garage. A charming Dutch door and salvaged brick floor add warmth and character to a traditionally utilitarian space. An arched doorway leads into the cozy Sitting Area now flooded with natural light from the newly raised ceiling, large skylight, and wall of windows. Taking cues from some of the more rustic elements in the home, the Kitchen was designed to serve the modern chef but simultaneously feel as if it had been part of the house forever. Custom cabinets in the most perfect shade of green are the star of the show while personalized touches such as a built-in beer tap add functionality and whimsy.
On the second floor, the Primary Bathroom received a much-needed overhaul. Marble counters and deep blue cabinets elevate the room while marble-patterned wall tile keeps the space light and playful. InHabit designed a custom bank of wardrobe cabinets for the Bedroom wall to make up for closet space sacrificed to the Bathroom. Hanging rods, drawers, and adjustable shelves are all hidden behind gorgeous cabinetry ensuring that every inch of space is utilized to its fullest potential. This family’s day-to day routine has been completely transformed with the renovation of a few key spaces!
